The Same
The same air that makes birds fly
that they wheel in glee;
rends the banana leaves.
The same light that makes you see
that makes your path so bright;
the darkroom is wary of.
The same water that makes fishes survive
that they whirl and whizz in frenzy;
douses the raging fire.
The same words I speak and things I do
that like a god I am revered;
throw some in a lifelong regret.
