Songbird
The sparrow sang a song of sorrow and sadness,
Whistling away all colours and madness.
Until a sweet little birdie did tell me,
It wasn't anything that we could see.
We listen to the scent of a new feeling,
Touching everything below us in an upward meaning.
All but to cry tears of crystal and gold,
A lifetime of death, forever never told.
