You bought coke for me and beer for you
Bag of chips and barbeques
Box of cigarettes for us two
We’re sitting in the poolside now listening to blues
You hold my hand, and I know it’s the beginning of something new
When you said to me, “We were born to die, but I’ll live for you.”
