In dawns youthful embrace,
In the hush of a bright forenoon,
Silent anticipation engulfed the earth.

A king betrayed for coin,
An innocent son was slain,
For setting the captives free
& bringing a revolution to birth.

For the Kingdom of God is at hand,
And his awakening held the key for us.
To enter boldly as children of the most high,
Reclaimed from the shackles of the world.

The gravity of this juncture,
Sent ripples throughout the cosmos.
A sacrifice tore the celestial veil.
All of Heaven and Earth stood still.

But in the spiritual realm,
The hosts of hell was at war.
Believing they have taken earths champion,
Unleashing God's wrath upon their kingdom.

On this Good Friday,
Only A father understood the purpose,
That all who believe will not perish,
But have everlasting life.

Because such a sacrifice
Was not just a historical moment,
But the death of sins authority,
tipping the scale back in our favor.

Only The father smiled,
Knowing it has just begun.
