You are the first teacher of love
When I heard your tale
Of how your love bloomed
And the sacrifice of Sati Maa
For your sacred love.
But I also grew up learning
You were the first in the universe
To be insulted for being
A simpleton and judged of worthiness
For being hermit and ascetic.
You were the first in this universe
To go through the fire of losing
The love of your life and when you
Lost your cool and did Shiv-Tandav
My heart cried and melted for you.
You showed me the true love,
You showed me how painful is losing love,
And also that love is not lost,
But will return again in another form
When Maa Parvati was born.
That is why you My Lord Shivji - You are my Love Icon teaching me how to love and giving me lesson that "You will always protect the Love of your Bhakths because you donot want is for us to go through pain that you went through when You lost Sati Maa."
