Some ask, what is this thing called school?
Why are we afraid it?
Is it even necessary?
What can we gain from school?

A school is a place of learning
A place of gaining knowledge
A place to gain discipline
But must we attend it?

We are scared of leaving our homes
Scared that we may not be accepted into school
Scared that we might not ace our exams
Scared that our peer groups will not see us worthy

We gain important stuff
We gain a lot of mental and social skills
But above all the most important to us
We gain everlasting friendship
