Nighttime musings
In the stillness of the night,
When the world is hushed and quiet,
I hear the whisper of the stars,
And the beating of my heart.
I think of all the ones I love,
And those who've gone before,
And though they're far away from me,
Their memories I adore.
The moon is casting silver light,
On the world so calm and still,
And in its glow I find my peace,
And all my fears are still.
So in this moment, I embrace,
The beauty of this night,
And feel the love and grace of God,
And all that is so right.
For in this moment, I am free,
To be who I was meant to be,
And find the joy that's always there,
If I just stop and see.
