YOU CHANGE THAT

When these cuts open
and my past is bleeding out
when the floor is covered
and the walls are splat,
you don't know
what kind of mood I'm in
if life's not anything
worth breathing for
you change that

When I walk alone
through these fields I know
I can cry out loud
when other times I don't
when there's no hope
failings a fact
and I have no purpose left
you change that

There are wolves
who sniff me out
drooling on my clean heart
with there kerosene
waiting for a spark,
I stay away
I make perfect prey
nobody hears you
out here in the dark
there's no use screaming
nobody has your back
you change that

Of a dark cold glowing light
In a room alone
late at night
When desires fill my head
I drift off into a dream
of both of us in bed
where was time
it must have died
like Romeo and Juliet
that kind of love
I could never have

you change that !
