A slip, a fall, a sudden chill.
Pain erupts, a fiery tide,
In this cruel instant, nowhere to hide.

Heartbeat pounds like thunder's roar,
As blood cascades, a crimson pour.
Eyes wide with shock, a soul laid bare,
On the edge of darkness, gasping for air.

The world blurs, a silent plea,
In the shadow of mortality.
Clinging to hope, to life, to light,
Fighting the abyss with all my might.
