Poetry in Motion
Poetry in motion
I try to write from my heart
To try and create a spark
To live in my world is a start
My words emotions to impart
I try to use rhyme
Create patterns in time
To make my feelings thine
In a universe sublime
In a cadence of words
We join our worlds
The reader then beholds
Stories as they are told
Rhythm I try to use
Emotion and imagery infuse
To ignite within you a fuse
As yourself in my words lose
Rhythm, words and rhyme are not static
They stretch the imagination like elastic
Creating images colourful and cinematic
Making poetry in motion fantastic
