What am I supposed to say when you cut me off?
What am I supposed to do when you've put me down?
How am I supposed to react when all you do is attack me?
How am I supposed to love when all you do is hate?
I get it, you could never be me.
I would never WANT TO BE YOU.
You have stood on my back with your head high.
You have claimed something that you don't have.
You have made me fear for my life, liberty and right to pursue happiness.
You have refused to look me in the eye.
You prefer to look down on me.
For these reasons you should not be shocked when I grab a knife and tear the ropes holding me down.
You should not be appalled when I punch your calf and make you fall.
You should not be disgusted when I raise my voice.
You should not look away when I look you in the eye and say "My Life Matters".
