Lost
The missing piece of the puzzle must feel so sad,
Knowing something beautiful has been made without him,
so small and unimportant that he slipped between the cracks.
He no longer has purpose, and is sure he has no worth.
He does not realize that the puzzle misses him too,
That no other piece could fill the gap as perfectly as he,
And that the eye will always be drawn to the place where he should have been,
If only he had not been lost so soon.
