Hi Tony

I've been taking some time for myself
Been taking a minute to dwell
I realised I forgot how to write a tale
And how to write it down good
Even though there's much to tell



Healing put some distance between me and these oh so sorry tales
I still think they're great
I'm really proud of what I made



Now there's a light
A whole life, day by day
And it's mine
It's wholly mine
I finished my training, grew to twenty-five
I fucking survived



So Tony, you've been a good friend
But since I'm taking myself back
I'm changing you too

Don't worry, you're still allowed to be sad
And to celebrate it
There's a simple hope in being known like that
But I'm learning how to write again



It's now anger with purpose
Fear that's allowed on the surface
Joy inside
Learning emotions again, on at a time



So, Hi Tony
It's nice to see you again
This time I'm not leaving
