The dreadful heat ended
But calamity took it's toll
The black sky thundered
Flashes of lightning illuminated the sky
Farmers looked grim
As heavy rain started to devour
The lush rice fields became flooded
Tears rolled unstoppable
They looked up the heavens
Seeking Gods help
But Alas!the sky turned even black
No words could calm the nature
As tearful eyes mourned their fields
Nothing left to seek
They clutched each other
Lost in a deep thought
Cursing their life .
