another loop around
the six & the twelve -
look at them checking on me.
some with worried faces as if
they are missing something
(maybe me, but that could be
too much to ask). some are
elated, smiling while waiting
up/down at me. I give relief +
stress, an exhaled breath, a reminder though I am moving-
there is rest for them,
unlike me who must wait
for batteries or a recharge.
they walk and talk, cry + shake
their fists at me - but there is a
meaning I can not see beyond
this circle endlessly stretching me.
