Anxiety
One day my heart ached
Mom took me to the doctor and he said it was nothing.
Just mental pain,
They call it anxiety.
I wasn't used to pain for no reason
The ones that come out of nowhere
But mum says it's okay
That the anxiety will subside
If my head stays busy
One day I started to cry
And my dad just stood there watching
He wondered to himself what he had done wrong with me
And in the middle of crying mom said
It's anxiety
It's gonna pass
Everybody had something to say

But no one ever said
How hard it was to live with this
