Men Too Hurt
Men too hurt,
but everyday we are told to wear our pride
and hold our chins up high,
To wipe our tears,
And act like we're alright.
They say " ignore the pain,
just bite your teeth and smile",
"Hide your scars, and show no cracks,
cause Men dont cry "
But Men too hurt.
Every day that our silent screams just go unheard,
marks another milestone towards an early grave,
Yes, Death is the fate we can't abate.
It is the price to pay in a world where grace is faint,
A world that loves a lot less than it hates,
And embraces a lot less than it rejects,
But truth remains,
Men too hurt.
