I remember when I was a teen I was so angry.
I should have prayed.
I thought I was hideous.
I bought into my egos lies.
My teachers didn't give me a chance.
Funny thing is I wanted romance.
I should have sought out his word instead.
Throughout the years I've struggled with My self-esteem.
I thought my teachers had let me down.
My Mother was my encouragement.
A time or Two I tried suicide.
I should've known God had a plan for me.
Throughout the years I've read lots of Books
Learned a lot things including how to have a conversation.
I've met are have quite a few people throughout the years.
Now I'm engaged.
I've learned to look before I leap.
With time I've became happier.
Although I don't need anyone to steal my Joy.
