Touch the Hand of Man
A minute is like a lifetime.
A day like a thousand years.
Yet, we blink and time has jumped forward.
What did we do during those lost days?
Did we squander them?
Life is extremely precious.
We don't know how long we have.
Let us be present in every moment.
Let's make it count while we can.
Let's spread joy and peace,
not hate and destruction.
We must hold each other up.
Not, stomp each other down.
We must be kind to the earth,
so that future generations
may enjoy the privileges we've had.
We must give more than we take.
We must be fruitful without withering.
We must spread love to blanket the land.
And, let us touch the hand of man,
before we touch the hand of God.
