How it must feel to be someone's moon?
oh! the charm you have when you become a lover's koh-e-noor
oh! the feeling that someone loves only you
and when midst all the chaos two amiable eyes long only you

What must be the comforts of dwelling in an admirer's soul ?
oh! what must be the pleasure of being seeked yourself
oh! what must be the grandeur of being the pleasure yourself
and the magnificence one has over other when they are the beloved self

To be a moon, must be painful, and heres what must hurt
to be able to only hear and not being able to reciprocate the love
to be far far away from those who are, singled out in a vanton world
and the dilemma of always being exposed to other prying eyes of lust

he would have been a poet just like me, a pristine one
he would have loved someone, and got his heart broken
