Permanent
If we know that nothing will be permanent
Why do we cry when they leave?
Why do we blame ourselves when something leaves?
If we know it's not permanent then why do we care?
Permanent means one common thing for everything
Permanent as in here forever on Earth
Permanent as in here forever in the mind
And lastly, what I think is the most important one
Permanent in the heart
Just because someone passes over
Doesn't mean they pass over in our hearts
Their permanent there
The love for them stays no matter where they are
Yes, they passed but they aren't gone
No they aren't permanent on this Earth
And they might not always be permanent in your mind
But even if you can't remember them
The patch they made in your heart stays
The love you had for them and they had for you stays
The love for them is permanent
