Heavens Gate

I know son, when God called you home
You were eager to walk through Heavens gate
The Lords timing is perfect
For He is never late!

He watched you as you entered your new home
Looking for your Savior there for a while
Then you heard a soft and gentle voice
That said, I'm glad you're home with me, my child!

Things in Heaven were so much different
Then the life you'd experienced here
Just peace and joy everywhere
No heartache, no pain and no tears!

It felt to you like a magical place
So much more than you ever thought
There with God that loves you the most
Happiness you've never had, He brought!

This Heavenly place seemed to good to be true
But you believed God promised it to you
An Eternity with Him forever more
A new body He gave, brandnew!

As I think back about your short life here
And how now hope has been given to you
It just gives me joy and happiness
Although I surely love and miss you too!
