Lost in Liminality
So much to say
But no words
To express them,
I don't even know
If I'm happy or sad.
I'm detached
From everybody else,
Just living my life
As it comes
Accepting everything it brings.
I can only live in my head
That's the best place
And most safest place for me,
No standards to meet up with
And no one to impress.
All I want is peace
With my inner self and emotions
I no longer have the energy
To invest in anyone,
Now it's every man for himself.
