You're tired of the thoughts
You deserve so much better

I still feel like it won't be okay
Even though I know it will be
You wear your heart on your sleeve

Some things take longer than others
Crying through the fake laughter
You tear yourself up
In a constant state of pain
Constantly in one of the worst possible moods
But you are loved
You deserve the best of everything
You deserve to be happy
You deserve to be yourself
I know I sound like a hypocrite
But I feel the same way about myself
The same way that you do
I feel inadequate
Like the world is against me
Like nobody can hear me
Even though I don't know what to say
I don't know how to word anything
My thoughts are jumbled
But I know you feel the same way
I know you cry when you're alone
I know you hurt yourself
Even if it's not on the outside
The inside scars hurt the worst
They may never go away
But I know things will work out
I know the worst is over
And we will make it through these hardships
