What purpose does conflict fulfill?
Only death and destruction till
Lives lost that can ne'er be replaced
Families torn, hearts left defaced
Swords draw what seeds should be sown
As cannons sound where peace was known
Brothers against brothers take field
While power and profit are sealed
Hold your weapons, lay down your arms
Enough lives lost to fuel false charms
End the madness and start anew
With dialogue find what unites, not divides you
Dark is the shadow that war does cast
But there is light if we choose peace at last
Each life precious, this truth cannot fade
Let compassion now guide what rage has made
With understanding and goodwill between all
The drums of battle need no longer appall
Unite in our shared humanity
From this day forward live in harmony
