A new page,
Of the Chapter,
Of my life story,

Patiently waiting,
for the right reader,
to lift it off the shelf,
hold it close,
embrace its smell,

To enjoy the inside jokes,
and plot twists,
or the moments that broke,
my last rifts,

So what if he took,
a little too long,
so what if sometimes,
I do things wrong,

I still have hope,
my story will still go,
my faults will mend,
