When the demons invade my mind , I think of you .
When the time seems to have stopped , I think of you .
When I can't find myself and get lost , I think of you .
When I feel my heart beat louder and faster , I think of you .

For the first time , I followed the directions my heart showed .
It led to you and I walked even though it was a lonely road .
The road less taken which lead to bliss .
The destination was your company that i didn't want to miss.
Reached you just in time only to see you happy with someone else .
Now a lonely man on this lonely road dwells.
Maybe we weren't destined to be together .
Maybe we weren't meant to meet under a sunny weather .

But what about the time , when you promised that you would never leave me.
What about the time time when you asked to "just dream of me".
Maybe it was your kindness to not break my heart .
But the distance between us ripped me apart .
Even then I tried to make up after a long time .
Mimicked your hobbies like Mr. Mime .
I thought maybe these poems would be game changers.
Am I really nothing more than a stranger ?
