The Mighty Traveler of the Desert
#WritcoPoemPrompt22
He drops on the sandy folds,
Of a deathly bed,
A lost traveler of a mighty desert,
Parched throat, cracked skin,
He is his own Messiah,
Or another vagabond victim...

Lost amidst the swirling sands,
A nomad seeking refuge from the scorching sun,
He is his own Messiah,
Or another vagabond victim, undone.

His footsteps etched in the shifting dunes,
A testament to his journey's toll,
Each grain of sand a silent witness,
To the story his eyes tell, soul to soul.

But amidst the desolation, a spark ignites,
A flicker of hope in the darkest night,
For even in the harshest desert,
Love's oasis gleams, pure and bright.

So let him rise from the deathly bed,
With newfound strength and courage fed,
For in his heart, the desert blooms,
And amidst the sands, love looms.
