Terrains of Life
At times the challenges of life can be demanding.
Comprehending many obstacles through knowledge and understanding.
At times it can bring out best in you, from an untested fear.
It can build doubt or a sense of fulfillment, expressed by pain or the joy of a tear.
Life can be hard to perceive, reality tainted can be hard to believe.
People change as the seasons, even weather, it’s nature is to deceive.
When then sunshine is beaming down without a sign of precipitation,
Until the clouds follow dark and loud, showering the parade as a masquerade, an unannounced participation.
Like a mysterious revelation that cleanses the soul.
Just like a precious treasure that very soul could hold.
It’s easy to give up, but harder to maintain, it’s hard to explain,
When the road becomes rocky, navigating through life’s terrain.
The little faith I had was used as my navigation.
Even when it would lead me into unknown lands of aggravation.
Yet still, I had to find my way, somehow I knew I had a destination.
Though the road I took to get there exceeded my own expectation.
I pray you find your way, so when you arrive, you will cherish and appreciate it. The terrain of life might appear as a misdirection, with many road blocks, but it will be on you how you navigate it.
