Life Through a Glass Window Pt.3
Dissipate into the atmosphere
It hits me like stones on glass
I shatter in the midst of it all
but how when i’m so put together?
how is it that i continue to win yet lose forever?
i know it’s for the better
but what strange lies
what rare hellos and many goodbyes
after all this time, do you know what i realize?
I have nowhere to go and much pain to reprise
The smoke in a daydream makes the sense of a daydream
and i hope to isolate somewhere and so loudly scream
until it echoes through someone’s skull long and tall
how much longer does it take for you all to see my fall
I left long ago when you couldn’t see me
went upstairs to secluded rooms
watched you from glass windows transferring glooms through invisible flumes
and then the water came down on me while i was indoors
can anyone hear me drown through the wooden floorboards?
the distance was so short i thought i could be recognized
but the water flooded the room
sunken sailor with sunlight through glass in my bedroom
I thought i assumed
that you’ll forget me not if i could no longer bloom
