EDUCATION IS THE KEY
"Education is the key" they said
With a degree, some still
Work for somebody as a maid
For quick money, others kill.
Go to school to have a better life
Yet, a graduate strife in poverty
He wouldn't afford dowry for a wife
Empty his house is, for lack of property.
"Education is the key" they said
Some many destinies are locked
You are not qualified, the employer said
And he felt rejected and mocked.
It will make the world a better place
So, they said
Not knowing that for some race
It is the hardest true to embrace.
Education will get you opportunity
Education will bring unity
Education enables communication
Yet, I can not speak Latin
