The Hallucination
Am here longing,
longing to and fro;
though my hands withered,
though my feet numb.
Exaggerating my day-dreams, I would swing my hands to bend the winds;
like those heroes of the yore,
twisting my heads i would scare away my shadows,
Carassing the sands I would suck mud and
leaning towards the walls I force them harder to tremble.
Except at times to realise my delusions.
Every time I gulp, gaze,
gather thoughts, ideas, stories of connecting the universe and my soul.
As was my thirst to gain the powers of superhumans...
Just like the humans but much more,
Just like one of us but godly,
Just like me but more powered.
And just like this ends my hallucinations too.
