Trying to shine bright ain't easy when tears keep putting out the flame.
Looking like I'm happy is getting hard but everyday I'm able to maintain.
Writing about my life is even harder trying not to complain.
To broke to buy cheap beer so you know I'll never have a taste for champagne.

I write down my feelings hoping it will help so I don't go completely insane.
I know life is hard for everyone but come on life.. dang.
I want true love more than a crack head wants some cocaine.
Or a movie star wants big light's, fortune, and fame.
So far I been loved as much...
