On one moonlit night
I was off to my brand new date
as the night dwelled on I realized I had been stood up
As I lied in a hammock down the street
a familiar voice became a feat

but down from the heavens shined a bright light

but as the years got longer
as the time flew by
as the boy became man
his life was not worth it
knowing no one truly cares
a addict was sprung

But on the moonlit night

as they grew older and lost touch with everyone
but once he saw who she had brought
his attention there was drawn
caught in a shock
stunned in a daze
he talked his ass off in his dumb ways
