He's Been Set Free

I'm feeling restless and really sad
Had a dream about my son last night
How he suffered his whole life
But he put up a heck of a fight!

Couldn't keep a job because of his illness
It started to really take a toll
I saw the pain in his eyes
His mind and in his soul!

His illness wasn't one that he could help
Although others thought he could
Just a sickness like any other
If he could've stopped it, he would!

I know that dream wasn't true anymore
Because the Lord has taken him home
Where all of his struggles are over
And he'll never have to be alone!

Just a sad day that will be better tomorrow
These days just come and go
I can't expect them to just disappear
Because I just love my son so!

He's finally been healed by the Masters touch
In a way that I can't understand
But I do know he's been set free at last
God has him in His hands!
