No place.
This is no place for a girl like me,
Amongst robots, lip service and dead dreams,
Avatars that forgot how to breathe,
Restricting airflow not to die,
Wearing masks to be seen,
Thick as the irony.

The heavens wept all summer long,
Time ticked like a beat to move to,
But I only want to move to my own groove
So this is no place for a girl like me,
Time has not yet learned the ways of my flow
Even if it is has been kind.

Acted in line,
with my beliefs at the time.
And I still got here,
No place for a girl like me,
Nowhere left to be free,
Unless I cut off society,
And live amongst the evergreens,
Taking my trips around the sun in slow motion,
My craft taking generous hits,
of what's left of my love and devotion.

No place for a girl like me,
To safely lose my mind to find my soul,
They invented mental disorders.
Unnatural laws; to justify putting us in a hole,
If we stray,
If we dare not obey.

No place for a girl like me,
I didn't ask to be born,
But I was born tired already,
Could have sworn,
I lived through this a dozen times.
Used to wonder if I was adopted,
No place for a girl like me amongst my own,
No real feeling of belonging
What mother and father do not create memories of their offspring?
However, a beautiful name given,
Of sweet flowers, and new beginnings

No place for a girl like me,
When space is what she needs,
Take me back to the Amazon.
It's burning.
A girl like me,
She doesn't know what to do with all your sympathy.
