#WritcoPoemPrompt12 “Let her sleep deep”
#WritcoPoemPrompt12
Let her sleep deep,
Let us not weep,
For she is at her journey’s end,
Left with no memories to mend.
We shall rejoice her part,
Color her spirit as art,
To recall all that was good,
Cherish her memory we should.
The calamity is real,
A piece of our heart she'd steal,
Her final breath of air,
Our dreary despair.
Pursue the light,
Forget us you might,
To see the joyous sides,
And harmony your soul guides
Sleep now little one,
Like you there are none,
Our sister daughter friend,
A hand from heaven you extend.
Let her sleep deep,
Let us not weep,
Spirits ever remain thus,
She'll forever be with us
