You set my heart on fire
and its warmth melts the coldness away.
Yet you have no control of it whatsoever
and now, it burns me alive
as I scream the ashes out of my life.

Sets mine off when we met the first time.
Unknowingly, you set me ablaze,
And from my heart lit up by yours,
The fire seeps through the pores,
The burning flows across the skin,
And words become ashes,
Unspoken, taken by the wind.

The fire seeps through the pores of my skin,
Flowing with the blood that leads to the heart,
And ignites the candle within.
Time after time,
The candle melts,
But the fire continues to warm the inside,
Slowly burning the walls down,
As tar flows with the blood away from the heart,
And smoke pierces through the pores of the skin;

Everything burns down.
