The days eventually fell silent,
Not a sound, not even the crows,
All you could hear was Fear
Knocking on the doors.
People in their houses not daring
To step out, not a soul was in sight
Except for the strays roaming freely about.
Silence still prevailed when evening turned to night,
The sound of crickets foretelling our plight.
The time for Mother Nature's healing has begun.
From all the evil deeds of men that cannot be undone,
From the felling of trees to polluting the cerulean seas,
This earth is devoid of humanity.
