I broke down time
I found a piece of your heart
And a piece of mine
I wish every beat
Was our rewind
Since it gets to the end
When it travels on a forward line
At a standstill
Reading your eyes
Forgetting about bills
When your skin’s on mine
I get this numb feeling
I forget we can’t fly
But why do I feel so high?
We have been up and down
On this time stream
We might have even been
A king or a queen
Last time my heart broke
Motion jammed
But who cares now
Since you make the river of time
Flow again
