Oh how do I remember the moment, how shy and innocent you were ,

Took my breath away, time stood still, for a second only we existed ,

Looking back now I guess that I knew, not too sure about you,

Someone I had an instant connection with you, somehow I knew,

You were one of a kind. Someone who wanted no attention through and through,

Yet you were my light at the end of the tunnel in a difficult time,

I can only hope our time together was as memorable, for that's all it is now bitter sweet memories from when we were kids,
