Locked Down
As of this very moment,
There's a high number of infected,
My hometown is locked down,
Going in and out is not allowed.

Businesses are forced to close,
Men are scared of what they may lose,
Their profit, assests, and resources,
May disappear as this pandemic arises.

Not sure if our supply is enough,
To fill the hunger in our stomach,
Feeling worried if my family gets sick,
Because we don't have money to pick.

Through this poem that I wrote,
I ask for great help and support,
Not on money but your PRAYERS,
For the safety of my fellow citizens.

Hi! readers, this poem expresses my hometown's struggle from Covid-19. The news of being locked down woke me up from my sleep. This is so frustrating. 😢
