How will I show you that you are one of a kind,
That another like you is impossible for me to find,
Bestowing upon me wisdom, while bringing faith along,

But now I feel empty, I feel like a broken vase,
You did what you could for me, all that I could ask,
You lied awake all night, never so lost in thoughts,
But who was it to blame when it was all my fault.

You tried, so hard to stop me from chasing the wrong kind of fun
I saw no limits to the sky, so I flew closer to the sun,
It burned me, just when I thought it loved me
And you still blame yourself for every hurt that I feel.

Yet why I feel this way, is something I could never fathom,
I often tell myself, I can never grasp your wisdom,
But for how long am I to sleep, with these teary eyes,
As you console my heart, with all your perfect lies.
