Maybe I stayed too long
On my phone
But if I didn't
I would be staring at the walls alone.
I know tide is sometimes high
Sometimes low
But I wish I was not the only passenger
Having to row.
A lifelong battle
I have not yet found a solution to,
I lose connections each time I settle.
If I knew the fault
I would fix it in a heartbeat
But until then I'll take the heat
And pretend I enjoy the peace.
Maybe I'm too negative
But I'm tired you see,
I thought each new school
Would bring conversations and I'd be free
But if that is not the case
Is there something wrong with me?
