Lullaby
To my late grandmother, Mrs. M. I. Husband's Surname.

Sleep away, fair old girl,
In this cold night stained
By eye dripping spree,
Let this solitary moon be your
Transport, in unstable ambience.

Sleep on, rest without snores,
A martyr in subterranean mattress
Hiding constellations and star
Blitz, ignorant of fireflies
While a star gazer.

Sleep on, in this lone bed
With peaceful, unfelt heat,
Polished with saline eyedrops
Dripping down the knoll.
