Afraid of Floating
I once was able to gaze upon the space that is the sky,
with stars overlapping a sea of azure blue,
and clouds I err to be Raphael's creations.
I hold fears I cannot captivatingly overcome,
a prison of unwelcoming contradictions.
Trapped in something quite worse than a screen,
of a time whence Neutron overpowered aliens,
a new irrational bred within a corner of my mind.
Revelations lighting trails of what it could be,
a knowing calm, at last, took its place.
I, not only, am afraid of falling;
I, too, am afraid of floating.
