aimed for the summit only to end up in a gorge
don't really have any fuckin idea what fate has kept for me in store
all I know is just keeping my head down and keep moving ahead
before the shadow of my past chases me down making me drop dead
I better keep up with this chase, fighting my intuition
tryna force my way through these shitty life situations
cuz sometimes it's better to doubt your choices to take a corrective actions

than repenting later on complaining you were only following your gut feeling
cuz it's better to handle a situation like a man cuz I ain't no some slut screaming
out loud for attention, sympathy and validation
I'mma out on a mission to rejuvenate my long lost ambition
of following my own dreams at a pace that only I get to decide
bereft of bitterness,repents and sorrows enjoying this great eternal ride
that life offers to everyone but only a handful get it long before their actual demise !!
