O such a dilly,
You precious pearl a thing..

Little Lily,
O such a dilly,
A tiny spell you spring..

Little Lily,
O such a dilly,
To hear your sweet voice sing..

Oh, but then,
There spawned a storm at night,
Rainy, hail-y, O that's right..
For in such a gloom,
We didn't think you'd ever bloom..

The next morning though,
We saw you'd grown,
Bloomed into a beauty of a flower,
Spreading bliss by the hour..
