Gods Promise

How many tears will I cry today
And how long will this continue on?
Some days are just so sad
As I sit right here and morn!

I know the time will come when I'll move ahead
But the pain won't completely disappear
I ask the Lord to come sit with me
To let me feel Him near!

I know that my child's in Heaven
And I'm sure hes looking down on me
He's probably asking God to heal me soon
To come and set me free!

If I could just hug him one last time
Would it be enough to last for awhile?
Until we're there together
I'd see his face, and that handsome smile!

I don't have all the answers
Bu I know that God is here with me
He wants to bring me healing
Happy He wants me to be!

I know we're not exempt from pain and suffering
In this life that we all live
But God does promise to carry us through
Love and understanding He will give!
