Bad Poetry
Never studied classic poets
past what is taught in school.
Though I think they're cool.
I refuse to be confined, and
I will not be defined, like labels
on a box so-called refined,
Society designed, social confines.
By their standards, we're all unrefined,
erratic and broken in mind.
And we'll never get a ribbon blue,
For smithing words in a different hue.
Poetic musings only confuse,
their sense of what's true,
but that's okay, "fuck them
and their reality too", continue
to express your truth, for one day
someone is bound to see, through
broken lines and stanzas free.
